Car Rental Basic Benefits

• All rental prices include third-party insurance, unlimited kilometres, helmets and taxes.
• Free 24h accident assistance (By Insurance Company) throughout Paros & Antiparos.
• On-line help centre through WhatsApp.

Requirements

• The driver must be a holder of a European driver’s licence issued at least one year ago or an International driver’s licence.
• International Driver’s License (IDL) is required for all non-EU drivers to hire any vehicle in Greece.
• The vehicle hirer is liable for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period.
• All vehicles must be returned at the same amount of fuel as given.
• Credit Card needed to hire a vehicle, for a guarantee, if the Credit card holder is on a different name from the driver’s must be mentioned and added on the rental agreement.
• If the hirer doesn’t owe any Credit Card, there is an option to pay a damage deposit on the pick-up in cash, and then after the rental period, our company will return it on the drop-off, same way.

Cancellation Policy

• In case of cancellation (for any reason) up to 10 days before arrival, the deposit of (30%) is refundable. (up to 20 days for July & August)
• In case of cancellation (for any reason) within 10 days before arrival, the deposit (30%) is NOT refundable. (within 20 days for July & August)
• If the hirer does not meet any rental requirements (diploma, age, credit card) LpRental  & Rental Agency is not liable. It may cancel the reservation without refunding the deposit.
• LpRental & Rental Agency is not liable for any cancellations/delays of any vessel/aircraft. The hirer must inform the company of any modification/change of arrival in advance in any such case.

Car Rental Procedure: Pick Up & Drop Off

1. We need to have and receive all the necessary details before the Pick Up:
   • Arrival details.
   • Departure details.
   • Must be paid the advance of 30% from the total amount.
   • Any extra services if needed.
   • Driving license
2. On the date and place of the Pick Up:
   • Depending on the location, one of our agents will welcome you as agreed.
   • We will prepare any paperwork needed.
   • We will finalise the balance, if any.
   • We will ask if you have any changes to your schedule.
   • We will show you the car, and we will explain anything you need on that. Also, we will mention any non-functional damages from other rentals on the agreement.
   • We will give some tips regarding Paros and directions for your destination.
3. On the date and place of the Drop Off
   • Depending on the location, one of our agents will meet you as agreed.
   • Our agent will ask if you faced any vehicle problems and then evaluate the condition for any damages.
   • You will receive your payment receipt/invoice and your damage deposit.
   • After your trip, we will be glad to spend some time evaluating our services and sending feedback to help us improve our services.

Damage Calculation System

• Any unwanted damage/accident caused during your rental will be evaluated and assessed by the SilverDAT damage calculation system. It is a certified system offered by DATgroup, worldwide and recognised by insurance companies and credit institutions.

Insurance Τypes & extra costs

• Third-party insurance
  • This insurance, offered on the rental prices, covers an individual or firm against a loss caused by some third party. It is a policy purchased by the insured (first-party) from the insurance company (second party) for protection against the claims of another (third party) in case of an incident. The first party (hirer/driver) is responsible/liable only for their damages or losses (the rental vehicle). The insurance is responsible/liable for the third party, regardless of the cause of those damages.
• CDW insurance
  • A collision damage waiver (CDW) is an additional insurance coverage offered (with extra cost) to an individual renting an automobile. It is optional (upgrade from the third-party), with the cost of the waiver dependent on a variety of factors, like the type of rental vehicle and where it’s usage etc. The waiver typically covers the car’s bodywork with an excess of the liable to the hirer amount. Usually NOT Covers: windows and mirrors, wheels and tyres, undercarriage, engine, the car’s interior, flat battery, personal belongings, lost keys, extras, such as GPS, child seats or ski racks, towing charges and extra cleaning costs if needed.
  • Car Rental Category (A) has an additional daily cost of 11 euro and a 600 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (B) has an additional daily cost of 12 euro and a 650 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (C) has an additional daily cost of 14 euro and a 700 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (Ε) has an additional daily cost of 14 euro and a 700 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (F) has an additional daily cost of 15.50 euro and a 750 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (SUV) has an additional daily cost of 17 euro and an 850 euro excess/deductible amount.
  • Car Rental Category (L) has an additional daily cost of 21 euro and a 1200 euro excess/deductible amount.
